Charlottetown, PE – One week after announcing a new flight to Ottawa, Ontario, Flair Airlines has announced a 3rd route for Prince Edward Island with the addition of non-stop service to Kitchener-Waterloo.
Starting June 9th, Flair will offer twice weekly flights to the Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF), every Thursday and Sunday. During the peak summer season, Flair will be up to 8 weekly flights, serving different three cities – Toronto, Ottawa, and Kitchener-Waterloo.
“Anytime we can add a new airport code to our route network, it is great news for YYG and great news for PEI,” said Doug Newson, CEO, YYG Charlottetown Airport. “Flair’s confidence in the PEI market bodes well for our tourism industry and we look forward to welcoming new travellers from the Kitchener-Waterloo region starting in June.”
“We are very excited to continue our growth in Charlottetown by offering new routes to connect family and friends affordably across Canada,” said Garth Lund, Chief Commercial Officer, Flair Airlines. “With our new service to Kitchener-Waterloo and the recent addition of service to Ottawa, Islanders can take advantage of great fares to even more destinations. Flair looks forward to continuing to work with Charlottetown to share the beauty of the Island with Canada.”
