Stephanie McQuaid – Antarctica

The seas were very rough going around Cape Horn. The cruise closed the decks and no one was allowed to go outside. During meals, plates were sliding off tables. It was all worth it once we arrived in Antarctica. We spent our days looking at whales, penguins, and seals and got lectures from on-site scientists. I’m so happy Mom bought these binoculars because we were able to see so many amazing sights through them.
