NEXUS
The Charlottetown Airport does not currently have a full NEXUS fast-track security lane.
NEXUS card holders can use our Trusted Traveller by-pass queuing line to receive front of line service for pre-board screening. This allows for queuing line bypass only; all passengers receive standard screening.
What is NEXUS?
NEXUS is a pre-approval program for low-risk Canadian and American travellers entering Canada or the United States (US) at air, land and marine border crossings.
NEXUS is managed in Canada by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
What are the benefits of being a NEXUS member?
NEXUS members cross the Canada-US border more quickly and easily by using automated self-serve kiosks in airports. NEXUS members can also enjoy dedicated lanes when travelling by land, and Telephone Reporting Centres (TRCs) when travelling by water.
How do I apply for a NEXUS card?
You can apply online or obtain an application form from the NEXUS Canada website. When your paperwork is submitted, you will be scheduled for an interview.
The cost for the NEXUS card is just $50 per applicant for a five-year membership. Memberships for children under the age of 18 are free.
Visit the CBSA NEXUS website to review eligibility and to apply.
