Turo Car Sharing

Turo

Turo (www.turo.com) is the world’s largest car sharing marketplace where you can book any car you want, wherever you want it, from a vibrant community of trusted hosts across the US, Canada, and the UK.

Islanders wanting to share their vehicle can register as a “Host” on the Turo web site and once approved, can start listing the vehicle. Hosts can offer a variety of pick-up options, including the Charlottetown Airport, which typically comes with a surcharge to the customer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Option 1: If the host plans to be here in person to hand the keys over to the customer, they are permitted to park in the limited spaces available in the “Pre-Arranged” parking area. This area is also used by other transportation providers, including Kari and pre-arranged taxis, on a first come first serve basis. If space is not available here, Turo hosts are required to park in the short-term lot.

Option 2: If the host plans to drop off the vehicle for a pick-up at a later time, they are required to park in either the short-term or long-term parking lot. Applicable parking rates for each lot will apply. There are no discounted rates available for Turo hosts conducting business at the airport. Hosts should leave the parking ticket in the vehicle, which is to be paid at the applicable rate by the customer upon exit.
