Economic Impact

The Charlottetown Airport and Business Park continue to be a major economic engine for PEI.

In 2023, the airport contributed over $366.4 million to PEI’s gross output with 3,087 full-time equivalent jobs. The study also found the airport added $180.8 million to the Island’s gross domestic product (GDP) and generated $110 million to wages and salaries.
