Brendan Henry – Fox Glacier, New Zealand

Travelling through New Zealand, the opportunity came up to walk across Fox Glacier, a 13km long stretch of ice that is rapidly tumbling through the country’s Southern Alps. As I hiked along the sheer cliffs to begin my own walk across the glacier, I could look down on another group descending a flight of ice-chiseled stairs.
